Cheerios & Wind Blown

Yes, I know my blog posts are completely random and probably boring to the average reader.  I find the smallest things picture worthy and when I have a picture, I create a blog post. It just is what it is.

A bowl full of Cheerios has become my "in a pinch" distraction for Danny. He gladly sits there quietly shoving the little things in his mouth, only looking up periodically to say - with a mouthful - "dada!"

As of Late

My dad was in town this past weekend and though I was a major slacker on pictures, we had a terrific time! Danny was his normal adorable self and even stayed up late both Friday and Saturday night without a fuss. We'll be seeing Grandpa again in a couple weeks for Matt and Kari's wedding...

Beach boy on Saturday

Sunday was, of course, Mother's Day. After my dad left in the morning, Jimmy took care of Danny while I went back to bed for HOURS. It was glorious. We then went to my mom's for another beach day and a dinner made by none other than Jimmy. And let me tell you, the man can cook. I could get used to this!

I know I'm a late with this message, but I can't express in words how lucky I feel to have such an amazing mother. Everything I know about being a mom, I learned for you. Caged Animal

Sometimes the best way to get pictures of Danny is to contain his big personality, in this case, in his crib.

The Wrong Side

The other morning Danny seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Just wasn't his usual animated self and even had a random mid-morning meltdown. Poor guy...

Little Begger

Danny has started begging, like a dog, at our feet when we eat without him. Ninety-five percent of the time we eat together, so maybe he's just confused?? Anyways, we share when we can. After begging at his lap, Jimmy sat Danny next to him to help him eat his morning oatmeal.
