Birthday Week in Review

That's right, folks, birthday week. I take after my mom in that I like to milk my birthday for all it's worth! Last Monday I turned 29. Sigh. My mom and Colin took me out to lunch. Jimmy and Danny took me out to dinner. I got many cards and sweet calls. It was wonderful!

Then this past weekend, Colin made me a wonderful dinner and my mom spoiled me like I was 16, not 29. Such a great start to my last year as a 20 something.

I know I've said it before, but I seriously can't get Danny to sit still for pictures. Once I whip out the camera, he's on all fours crawling as fast as he can to me...

Uncle Kevin

Most of the time, Danny's hair lays flat and perfect like his daddy's. After this bath, however, his hair was looking a little more like Uncle Kevin's.

9 Month Well Check-up

Yesterday Danny had his 9 month well check-up - here are his official stats! The boy has got quite a head on him...

For the first 30 mins we waited, Danny was hamming it up - jabbering away, reading books, pulling himself up, standing and dancing (read: bouncing).

Once the doctor finally got to us, however, Danny was mute and limp with exhaustion and boredom, so the doctor just had to take my word on his advanced development. In the end, she clarified what we already knew - he's just perfect.

Unfortunately, from a photography standpoint, I'm afraid those days are numbered...

Puss in Boots
