Danny's First Fish and New Floors

Next up for the O'Connor family was Crew's first boat ride and Danny's first fish! The day started out pretty rough with Crew freaking out pre-boat ride, but it ended up great when Danny pulled in fish after fish on his little Lightning McQueen rod that Nana got him.

Happier on dry land
And then that week was the start of our floor remodel project. The concrete did not fully cure when our original floors were installed in May 2014, so we had to rip them all up (basically the whole downstairs) and lay a new floor. It was supposed to take 1.5 weeks and as I write this (on 10/19), we're still waiting for one last piece of the project to be completed. That's almost 2 months. More to come on this...

Here's the kids sleeping at the Henson's place where we stayed for the demolition.

Storytime, Smiles and Sleeping

The blog is still alive!! I'm going to be back-dating some posts so the recaps of our crazy life stay in order. Sorry for the hiatus! Anyways, here's Crew's first baby storytime (way later than Danny's first, but what are you going to do?), as well as some cute smiling and sweet sleepy shots.

Dad's 60th

I suck at keeping up with this blog. There I said it. But my dad's 60th birthday is certainly reason enough to put together a post, so here you have it. We went up to the mountains this past weekend to help him celebrate and see my aunt, uncle and grandma. The mountain weather and scenery was such a nice break from the beach and it was all a great time!
