Poor Crew

We've had a tough spell with Crew! He refused to nurse for about a day and half and then eventually started running a fever. At the doctor they tried to get him to take in some Pedialyte via syringe because they were afraid of dehydration. It wasn't strep or an ear infection or anything we could treat with antibiotics, so it was just a waiting game until he started feeling better. All the spotting nursing caused my supply to dip, so it's been a hard time for all. Luckily we had Lita and Papa to help entertain us for the weekend!

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Nana had the boys while Jimmy and I hit up one of our favorite spots, Rx, in downtown Wilmington for our 6 year anniversary!! It was such a nice night just the two of us - proof that despite all the ups and downs of life, we still love spending time together! Woo hoo!

Shoppers in Training

Our local mall is kind of lame, but Danny thinks it's the Taj Mahal and both kiddos enjoy riding around in the free car carts. Anything that keeps them happy and let's mom have a little retail therapy...

Friends with Babies

It's so nice to be at the point in our lives where most of friends have babies too. On that note, when we got back to Carolina Beach from Maryland Matt, Kari and baby Seven were in town staying with Chad, Lindsay and Gemma. It was great as always to catch up with them and the kids had a blast playing together. Seven and Crew are almost the same age and same with Gemma and Danny. Good times!

MD for Aunt Jessica's Wedding

And then it was a quick trip up to Maryland for Aunt Jessica and Uncle Jon's wedding. Luckily we also got to squeeze in some time with Grandma and Grandpa Ron before. Uncle Kevin and Aunt Stef were in from California too. It was all fun, fun, fun, but too quick!

Someone found Grandma's spoils before everyone else woke up!
Grandma and Grandpa have an awesome pool!

And then at the wedding that night. Marisol, Jessica and Jon's mom did a wonderful job with all the wedding details. It was such a great night. Congrats Jess and Jon!

Family of Football Fans

Being a mom I am the target audience for one of the companies I work for, BRAX Fundraising, so I decided to take some pictures of me and the kids in our Redskins gear with BRAX's SpiritCups. I may be biased, but I think they're pretty cute!

Danny's First Day of 3s

Today was Danny's first day in the 3s class at St. James Day School. His teachers are Mrs. Ivey and Mrs. Braxton and he is with a lot of his same friends from the 2s class, plus some new peeps! It was Danny's first time eating lunch at school and he picked out his own lunch box online - it has trucks on it - duh! I was afraid Danny would be apprehensive about starting back since he'd been with me all summer, but he did well!

Mommy and Crew lunch date before picking Danny up
Here's pics of Danny and Crew at orientation the day before. Danny, of course, made a b-line to the shelf of trucks. Crew was also a big fan of the whole experience!
