Tippy Toes

Love this photo series of Kingston practicing his standing! When he first started 2 months ago or so, it was just on his tippy toes. Now he's flat footed and even standing independently for a few seconds. So funny to see since he's so tiny! He's even started to climb the stairs - eek! I'm thinking we might be walking sooner than later...

Long Weekend in St. James

I'm way behind on posting (I know, I say that all the time!), but here's a recap on our long weekend in St. James Plantation with Grandma and Grandpa Ron. We ate good, swam in the pool, fished and had a ton of fun visiting! Mommy even snuck in a happy hour sans kids and a quick snooze on the porch. Go me!

Crew and Kingston do Charlotte

Next up on our adventures was a trip to Charlotte to see Shiva and Brian before they moved to Paris and, of course, spend time with Catherine and kids while she graciously hosted us! Jimmy didn't come, so to make it easier on me, Danny stayed home with him. So it was just me, Crew and Kingston! Crew loved played with all Catherine's girls and we had a pretty action packed time!

First up was visiting Sarah's Girl Tribe Co office while Catherine showered and watched over sleeping kiddos. 

Then it was a food truck rodeo. Trucks + Food. Crew was in heaven!

The next day we lounged around in our pjs in the AM and then headed into downtown Charlotte for lunch and ImaginOn, followed by pizza and shenanigans back at Catherine's house in the evening.

We were up early the next day, but it took a while for us to get on the road. Pretty uneventful ride home and then it was time to catch up with Daddy and Danny!

Summer Silliness

We've done a lot of fun things and gone some fun places so far this summer, but we've also enjoyed down time at home too. After all, we do live at the beach and boxes will always be the best toy!

Myrtle Beach with Gpa

Still playing catch-up on all our fun summer happenings! It's been weeks now, but the kids and I headed down to Myrtle Beach to see Gpa and family who were staying in one of those oceanfront hotels with pools, lazy rivers, water slides, etc. The kids were INTO it! So much so that we decided to not even leave the property and just order pizza to the pool for dinner. Danny was more brave than me going down the long, dark, enclosed water slide! Needless to say, everyone slept good that night!

The following day, we headed back to Carolina Beach and my dad and everyone met us there for a couple days on our turf!

Crew had a "demonic" tantrum before dinner out the last night, but otherwise, the whole long weekend with off without a hitch!
